Max is a recent graduate of Sonoma State University, earning his bachelor’s degree in Political Science. During his college tenure he created a tennis program in which he gave private lessons to high school and aspiring high school players, growing his clientele through extensive networking. Max attended Poway High School where he lettered four times and earned the player of the year award four years in a row. It was during this time, his junior and senior years of high school, that he began giving private and group lessons to junior varsity players in the Poway and Rancho Bernardo area. Max has a passion for the game and enjoys working with children and adults alike. As a teaching professional, Max emphasizes fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary to realize a degree of individual and team success. “As the job implies, a tennis instructor is someone who can not only take a job seriously, but is energetic and can make a lesson fun and enjoyable.” Other interests include travel as in recent years surfing in Panama, hiking through Costa Rican jungles, and reaching the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
